WHAT IS LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE?

Landscape architecture is an occupational discipline as well as a science and art discipline in the design, planning, management and conservation of ecological based, aesthetic and functional perspectives within the balance of conservation and use of natural and cultural environments in urban and rural areas.

Landscape Architects who want to be;

Have ability to recognize and perceive the natural and cultural environment,

To be able to define the logic and principles of design and planning,

Have an aesthetic vision,

Creative and three-dimensional thinking ability,

Have knowledge about cultural infrastructure,

There must be idealistic people who are determined and willing to work in difficult conditions in nature.

Drawing instruments, mock-ups and painting materials

Computer hardware and programs (GIS, Remote sensing, computer aided design and modeling, etc.)
