Department of Horticulture, within the framework of a 4-year program; It trains agricultural engineers in the fields of greenhouse and open cultivation, breeding and post-harvest. The first two years of the program consist of basic compulsory courses of agricultural science. The third and fourth years are mainly devoted to horticultural subjects. The program includes theoretical and practical subjects such as field and laboratory studies. However, apart from these, a few elective courses in the semester allow students to focus on different products and topics of interest.
Successfully completing all the courses available in the program (for a total of 240 ECTS) and having a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are the required qualification conditions for graduation.
Graduates who successfully complete the program by fulfilling all the requirements receive the "Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering-Horticulture" degree.
